Golden Serpent_Scenic04 - FOR SALE!!

Here is my recent sculpture - my Golden Serpent. Made to sit on a Rock I found while visiting family and painted with the color of the rocks in mind.

He is fully made with Super Sculpey and each scale was placed on individually. It had to be one of my time consuming pieces, although totally worth it.
Also getting him to sit nicely on the rock was not the easiest tasks I've ever done, but super glad I did it.

This type of Serpent is a sand and rock dweller. He is old, so he does care much for anyone bothering him although food is always welcome.

Here is a double image. It is the first time I have done this for a sculpture. I noticed when looking at my images that I had a close up and a further away shot, so I decided to combine them.

Golden Serpent has a complete wire armature within it to allow for it to easily hold it's shape prior to being baked.
